PRONI

PRONI contains the Last Will and Testament of George Vaughan Esquire (written in 1753) and numerous papers relating to the history of the Vaughan School at Tubrid, Kesh, Co Fermanagh. It also contains the legal documents dealing with the setting up of the board of Trustees. Interestingly PRONI contains many letters written throughout the history of the Vaughan from the death of George Vaughan in 1763. An historian will enjoy the HART papers (One of George Vaughan's sisters Mariana Vaughan married George Hart in 1706. She had 13 children, one of which was General George Vaughan Hart).
